I just tried flashing a 5110 with new software and it seemed like it went ok until i tried to turn my phone on and it didnt. I then went on to try to update the faid and when i tried to read the phone through the m-bus cable it said "Phone not connected etc etc etc" and then i tried a 6210 and it read it straight away. Im stuck , the phone doesnt turn on, i cant turn it on to update faid....i treid to flash again and it wont do it....ahhhh!!!

Try updatin the crc's in the flash file in PPM manager, then correct the checsums mcu and ppm in Nfree v1.2 the fash te file, update faid usin Nokia tool v.3.21 by jordik, thn quick set faid in KNOK and reset sp locks.I know to every one this sounds like a long a pointless way, but the 5110 is like the 6150 and i been playin with ones software all day and changed EVERYTHIN on it so i know wht im doin.and no one say flash a virgin eeprom to the phone cos they dont exist on NSM-1/NSE-1 phones.Too old make

Spawn there aint no code ya ave 2 take it 2 a fone shop like in a market and get it made dual band so it will accept ne sim card it should cost ya around £10 ne more ya gettin rippd off.
Hope it helps.
there are codes you have to phone up your network provider they'll tell you it costs about £30 though so your better of goin 2 a shop and dual band doesn't mean its unlocked it means it works on both frquency's 900mhz - 1800mhz
