I want to mess around with some of my lovely green day music and remix it, not really club remix...well i suppose i could, but i want to do maybe song vs song like they do on Q. So does anyone know what program i can use to do this? Id like to make up my own compliations just because im bored a lot of the time, may as well do something constructive.

Tacktor Studio is good. You can download many of the song vs songs on google just search for "xoops mtv mash ups"

you could try goldwave, I have it for recording and editing (i'm in a band), not sure if it would do mixing, give it a go!
