what is a basher?

a basher is a sim card which has been programmed to give free text and calls.. it is usually an inside job from a network such as orange.. not sure where to get them but are expensive..

u sure bout that?i got told that a basher sim was a contract one registered 2 some1 else, mind u, both give free calls n txts if u know what i mean ;-)

it is a programmed sim, or you can usually by a c12 witch is chipped to give you free calls!

One of the mods on here used to sell basher chips, can't re-call which one, but have a look in the for sale section.

that would be hard to get a sim as when i got my pc it took them ages checking my details, and me saying who i was!

You can also get your phone chipped, does the trick, costs around £80, but it CAN be detected, and then your cut of, my advice, if you get your phone chipped dont register it!

chiped phones arent the same as basher sims thought. i think the only chipped phone you can get is the phillips c12

Why can philips c12 only be chipped??

they have only made a chip for the c12, cos it is an easy fone to chip and its cheap.
