Bossworld 28-06-2002, 07:06 PM EEPROM tools is for DCT 3 only That rules out older DCT-2 nokias such as the 2110 etc, which can be unlocked using the SP code generator DCT4 is not going to be cheap for a long time, and i doubt that it will ever be free - companies have realised their mistakes with DCT3! Also, i wouldn't recommend EEPROM tools if you're serious about unlocking/modifying. If you do a conversion, it will reset the phone, which will ruin a 3310 to 3315 conversion for example. But because some ppl ****ed up (xpmobile) he decided to stop the project. And Now Lead has reopend the project. It is the best program around (that my opinion) it does ALL for DCT-3 phones. (convert 3310 -> 3315 by just ONE click) unlock flash (in very safe way, it's bit slower then other programs but readout is MUCH better) set new imei and Faid. Just compleet service tool. Use Eeprom tools if ur just getting started or if ur only doin it for mates and stuff. If u start to get into flashiing etc etc use more hard core programs like KNOK,Rollis and all that lot |
